Our solid hardwood blanket chests will last for generations to come. Select the wood species you want from the available options. The inside of each chest is lined with aromatic cedar providing that rich cedar smell and protection from various pests and insects.The hardwood lid is mounted using high quality Hinges which include soft-close to prevent slamming down on little fingers. The finish, is a hard-wax oil that brings out the best in the hardwood's figure and color while keeping with a "close-to-the-wood" feel with zero VOCs.

As our products are made from natural wood, the grain patterns are unique to each piece. Most of our domestic species material is "mill-run" which does include many defects typically omitted from commercial furniture. This provides both a rustic feel while reducing material waste from cutting around various defects. Domestic species are sourced from small-business sawmills in the mid-west USA. For orders of 2 or more, we will try our best to match the grain between the tables based on our available inventory. Any wood species not in stock can be custom ordered.
